My First Pop-Up Event Experience: A Day of Connections and Community

My First Pop-Up Event Experience: A Day of Connections and Community

On September 22, 2024, I had the amazing opportunity to participate in my very first pop-up event as the owner of Talia Rose Boutique! The event was hosted by Tasty Tyya in Livonia, Michigan, and it turned out to be a truly unforgettable day.

As I set up my booth early that morning, I was filled with excitement, a few nerves, and a lot of hope. This was a big moment for me personally and professionally. Since launching Talia Rose Boutique in January, I’ve been dreaming of moments like these—connecting with people, sharing my passion, and building something meaningful for myself, my family, and my community.

The day exceeded all my expectations. It was a beautiful experience connecting with so many wonderful customers who stopped by to chat, browse, and shop. I loved hearing their stories, their style preferences, and what makes them feel beautiful. There’s something incredibly special about seeing people connect with your brand and the products you’ve poured your heart into.

I couldn’t have done it without the support of my amazing husband, who helped me pack up the mini van with all my products, display items, and supplies. He even surprised me with the most thoughtful gift—a stunning round wood sign with my logo and company name beautifully engraved. The sign was handmade by a local small business, and it added the perfect touch to my booth. I felt so proud seeing my brand displayed in such a personal way.

I was also able to form new relationships with other local small business owners. Being surrounded by like-minded entrepreneurs, each with their own story and journey, reminded me of why I started this business in the first place. We shared tips, talked about the ups and downs of small business ownership, and even discussed collaborating in the future.

The energy at the event was contagious. Every vendor brought their A-game, and I couldn’t have been more proud to be part of such a vibrant community of makers, creators, and dreamers. It wasn’t just about sales or getting my brand out there (though that was exciting too!); it was about fostering connections that will last long after the event is over.

This pop-up was a major milestone for Talia Rose Boutique and for me personally as a business owner. I’m so grateful for everyone who came out to support me, and I’m already looking forward to the next event. Here’s to many more opportunities to connect with my community, empower women to feel beautiful, and continue growing this business that I love so much.

Thank you to everyone who made this day so special!
